Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club (BIYSC) is a soccer club of about 1,100 players on Bainbridge Island across Puget Sound from Seattle. We offer soccer programs for boys and girls ages 7 through 18 on recreational and competitive teams. BIYSC promotes the love of the game of soccer by providing quality training and appropriate competition for all ages and abilities in a safe and supportive environment, while developing the highest standards of player growth and fair play.
The vast majority of our players are on "recreational" soccer teams formed without tryouts. Every child registering on time is placed on a team. These teams play only against other recreational teams. Recreational soccer is intended to be fun and low key for players, coaches, and parents. More on our Recreational (Rec) program here.
Each year BIYSC also forms about 22 competitive select soccer teams in age groups ranging from U11 to U19. Select teams play at a higher competitive level than club recreational teams, which necessitates a higher level of commitment from both players and parents. We call this part of our program Bainbridge FC (as in Football Club) and you can get more details here.
